Ellen is an artist with a multi-disciplinary practice that encompasses time-based media, words, facilitation, and curation. By enacting documentary processes across disciplines, she untangles her interest in narrative and rehearsal. She seeks to organise small environments within wider contexts, that interlace time, duality, correspondence, and possibility.

In 2022, she founded screen service, a service-oriented artist collective facilitating experimentation and connectivity for early-career media artists in Ireland. She co-directs the platform. Recent projects include a collaboration facilitation project called The Collision Project, 2024. Ellen is from Co.Louth and has been supported by The Arts Council in 2022 and 2023.
